On June 20, the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) executed a demolition drive at the residence of notorious gangster Rakesh Yadav. Taking decisive action, the GDA initiated the operation to dismantle the property associated with Yadav. This move highlights the authorities' commitment to maintaining law and order in Gorakhpur. By targeting the residence of the gangster, the GDA aims to send a strong message against criminal activities and ensure the safety and well-being of the community. “This action is being taken by the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA). Adequate police force has been deployed here to ensure proper maintenance of law and order. Gangster Rakesh Yadav has 52 cases registered against him. He is currently lodged in jail,” said Manoj Kumar Awasthi, SP North Gorakhpur.
