After winning the trust vote at the Maharashtra Assembly last week, Eknath Shinde took a swipe at Uddhav Thackeray. The new Maharashtra CM said- This isn't a small incident. Even a gram panchayat member, corporator thinks twice before leaving the party. Why did this happen? Why did we do what we did? It was important to do some introspection and get to the root cause of this. Instead, we were called names. While emissaries were sent to speak to us, I was removed from my post as leader of the legislative party.
