Mumbai: Wadala-Chembur monorail back on tracks

Amid rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia, India is taking proactive steps to secure its energy supplies beyond the Middle East to safeguard domestic fuel availability. The Centre has assured citizens that there is no disruption to the country’s fuel and gas supply. Speaking to the media, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said India’s energy imports continue to flow smoothly through diversified sources and routes. The government has strengthened its energy security framework and expanded supply chains to minimise the impact of any instability in the region. Officials emphasised that these measures are aimed at ensuring stable fuel supplies for households and industries while protecting the country from potential global energy market disruptions.
