A massive fire tore through a six-story apartment building on New York’s Upper West Side, with flames blasting out of top-floor windows and the roof collapsing within minutes. According to FDNY Chief Of Operations Kevin Woods, firefighters launched an aggressive attack before switching to tower ladders as the inferno escalated to four alarms. Three residents and one firefighter suffered minor injuries, while 140 FDNY and EMS personnel swarmed the scene in a race to stop the blaze from spreading. The cause remains under investigation.
