At least two dozen masked suspects stormed a San Francisco Bay Area jewelry store, smashing display cases with pickaxes and grabbing bags filled with valuables. Security doors locked the thieves inside, prompting one to fire a handgun to escape. Police tracked the suspects by air and managed to arrest several of them, bringing the chaotic robbery under control.
