Sarita Gayakwad is thankful to her coaches for their guidance

Gujarat’s sprint queen Sarita Gayakwad, who did India proud at the Asian Games, says that her coaches have played a huge role in her success. Sarita shared, “KS Ajimon sir (athletics coach at Sports Authority of Gujarat-SAG, Nadiad) played a big role in convincing me and my parents about training there. The assistant coach at SAG, a kind lady from Punjab, also supported me a lot. Initially, after I was told that I will have to train for five hours daily, I found it difficult to cope with. I would vomit, and find it tough to cope with the pain. But Ajimon sir did not show any mercy, and I am indebted to him for that.”
