#JusticeForAvni: Bengalureans protest to save the cubs of the slain tigress

Cries of ‘We want justice, beke beku nyaya beku’ filled Bengaluru on Sunday, as protesters embarked on a peaceful march to mourn the loss of Avni or T1 — a tigress who inhabited the Pandharkawada forests of Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. The tigress was shot dead last week on the alleged account of her being a man-eater. To mourn her death and demand the safety of her companion and cubs, city folk took out a march from Freedom Park to Town Hall.
