Anindita Neogy Anaam, Secretary of Wisconsin Dance Council board of members, performed Kathak in Ghaziabad recently. Anaam is known for creating a fusion of Kathak and Ballet. She gave a performance based on Raag Charukeshi. “After successfully performing Kathak and Ballet fusion in the U.S. and receiving accolades for it, I want to share my performance here in India for people to see and learn. Traditional Kathak generally portrays mythological scenes but I try to depict social causes as well,” said Anaam.
