Film fraternity pays homage to Thoppil Ajayan

Many renowned artistes and technicians poured in to Kalabhavan Theatre in Thiruvananthapuram recently, as Mollywood adieu to the director of Perumthachan, Thoppil Ajayan, for the last time. Many of his friends at the venue remembered Ajayan as someone with a great sense of humour and love for humanity. Filmmaker TV Chandran said, “From the year 1990 to 1995, we were very much in touch. He had even accompanied me into a forest for about 15 days to film one of my documentaries. He was a warm personality.” Pannyan Raveendran, Kodikkunnil Suresh, Pramod Payyannur, Abhradita Banerjee, Radha Lekshmi, P Sreekumar and Mahesh Panju were a few others who dropped in to pay their last respects to Ajayan. \n
