IFFK enthusiasts have held director Majid Majidi in high regard as they have enjoyed his acclaimed movies including Children of Heaven and The Colour of Paradise in the previous editions of the film festival. For the Iranian virtuoso, who was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award this year for his contributions in world cinema, this edition marked his maiden IFFK. And it’s been a busy one too with him being the jury chairman for the International Competition category.
