The Montage exhibition was started in 2011 by the Global Public School, in Kochi, with the aim of encouraging art studies in school in Kerala. While last year 22 schools took part, this time around the number went up to 35. Schools from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram participate in the contest and the best school is given an award. The works were exhibited at the Durbar Hall in Ernakulam from August 21 to 25. While the students were not given a theme, they mostly based their works on nature.
