The racing season kicked off with the grand Times of India Cup Race held at the Lucknow Race Course, last Sunday. The first race of this season turned out to be a great success. A huge crowd gathered together to witness the magnificent horses participating in the race. The cheering crowd kept the thrill alive as the owners of the horses stood on the sidelines dressed in their best attire. The first race of the Indian bred horses had Doughnut, owned by Aparajita Mathur and skillfully ridden by jockey Arun Kumar clinch the first place followed by Khula Tara, owned by Nafreesh and ridden by Harsh and Rudra, owned by Captain Roop N Singh and ridden by jockey Akhtar Ali, respectively. As the horses raced down the tracks, their shiny skin, muscular built and silky hair left everyone in awe and everyone tried their best to capture the moment in their cameras and mobile phones.
