Actor-director Nishikant Kamat passes away at 50, Bollywood mourns the loss

Bollywood filmmaker Nishikant Kamat passed away on 17th August in a private hospital in Hyderabad following liver ailments. Kamat was known for directing Bollywood films like 'Drishyam', 'Madaari', 'Rocky Handsome', among others. Soon after the news of Kamat's death broke out, social media was flooded with condolences. Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh took to his social media account to pay tribute to Kamat, he wrote, 'I will miss you my friend. #NishikantKamat Rest In Peace.' Actor Ajay Devgn also took to his Twitter handle to mourn the demise of Kamat, and tweeted 'My equation with Nishikant was not just about Drishyam, a film which he directed with Tabu and me. It was an association that I cherished. He was bright; ever-smiling. He has gone too soon. RIP Nishikant'.
