The mortal remains of Indian classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj, who breathed his last on 17 August has been kept for a final glimpse to enable fans and family to pay their last respects. His body was flown to Mumbai from the USA after which it was taken to the family residence in Versova in Andheri. Jasraj's body was received by his wife Madhura, daughter Durga, son Sharang and grandchildren, said family spokesperson Pritam Sharma. Born in Haryana, Pandit Jasraj belonged to the Mewati Gharana of classical music. His elder brother was Pratap Narain Pandit, the father of famous music composer duo Jatin-Lalit, Sulakshana Pandit, and Vijayta Pandit.
