Anurag Basu recalls his battle with blood cancer: 'Doctors said I had only two weeks'

Ace filmmaker Anurag Basu is a cancer survivor. He got diagnosed with blood cancer in the year 2004. Recently, in an interview, the filmmaker opened up about his cancer and revealed that doctors had said that he had just two weeks to live. He said, 'At that time, Tani (his wife) was 7-month pregnant with Ishana, and she used to struggle in staying close to me. I was pushing myself for 2 months…so that I could see the baby’s face.
