Arun Govil talks about the viral video of woman touching his feet: 'She saw me at the airport and screamed Ram'

Actor-turned-polictician Arun Govil has now reacted to the viral video of a woman touching his feet. While talking to a leading daily about his reaction to people touching his feet and calling him 'Ram', Arun Govil said that he knows that 'they are not touching his feet'. Adding further he said, 'They are paying an ode to their own belief and faith. I am a mere symbol, Lord Ram made me that.' Recalling the incident, Arun revealed that the woman in the video saw him at the airport and screamed 'Ram' and 'literally rubbed her forehead' on his shoe. Later, she revealed that her husband was in ICU and tried to wrap a yellow dupatta around me as a gesture of her love for lord ram. The actor further added that, 'Take this dupatta and make your husband wear it.' For the uninitiated, Ramanand Sagar's mythological TV show 'Ramayan' aired for the first time on January 25, 1987.
