Asif Basra's death by suicide: Lesser-known facts about the late actor

The noted and critically acclaimed Bollywood actor Asif Basra was found dead in a private complex in Dharamshala. Reports suggested the actor hanged himself and committed suicide. Asif Basra started his acting journey from theatres and soon was seen on television. in 1998 Asif was seen in a TV serial 'Wo' and later on in a movie titled 'Rules - Pyaar ka superhit formula' starring Milind Soman. But, the actor got nationwide recognition from Anurag Kashyap's film Black Friday. This kickstarted his Bollywood career and he acted in films like Jab we met, once upon a time in Mumbai and many others. though the actor has always been a supporting role, his acting skills were appreciated by one and all. The film fraternity is still in a state of shock with the tragic demise of this talented actor.
