'Besharam Rang' controversy: BJP MLA Ram Kadam says 'producer and director are maintaining silence because they want this cheap publicity'

Soon after the release of the much-awaited film 'Pathaan's song 'Besharam Rang' it sparked a major controversy. Many right-wing organisations and activists are protesting against the song for showing Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron colour bikini. BJP MLA Ram Kadam has also reacted to the ‘Pathaan’ song controversy and tweeted that no film insulting Hindutva will be tolerated. Now, during a conversation with ETimes, Ram Kadam opened up about the controversy and said, 'I did not mention that we are asking ban on Pathaan. The producer and director should come forward to clear their stand, but they are not bothered about it. That means they are deliberately maintaining silence because they want this cheap publicity.'
