Comedian Sunil Pal in legal trouble, FIR registered against him for allegedly defaming doctors engaged in COVID 19 treatment

Comedian Sunil Pal, who has acted in several Bollywood films such as ' Phir Hera Pheri' and 'Apna Sapna Money Money' in minor comic roles, now finds himself in legal trouble for making defamatory remarks. Police registered an FIR against the stand-up comedian and actor for allegedly making defamatory remarks against doctors engaged in COVID-19 management and treatment of patients, an official said. According to the official, the Andheri police lodged an FIR against Pal based on a complaint filed by Dr Sushmita Bhatnagar, head of the Association of Medical Consultants. As per the complaint, Pal made the alleged derogatory comments against doctors during a show on an entertainment channel.
