Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn starrer film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' was one of the biggest iconic romance-drama of all time. While fans went gaga over Aishwarya's entrancing performance, not many know that the actress wasn't Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first choice for the film. Yes, you heard that right! Sanjay approached Kareena Kapoor first for the role of Nandini in the film, but, she declined the offer as she was going abroad for further studies and was too young to step into Bollywood. Apart from 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', Sanjay also offered 'Bajirao Mastani' to Kareena but, that also didn't happen.
