Jaan Kumar Sanu opens up on his relationship with father Kumar Sanu, says 'Not afraid to speak the truth'

Veteran playback singer Kumar Sanu's son Jaan Kumar Sanu is making the headlines since his stint in the popular TV reality show 'Bigg Boss 14'. Jaan Kumar Sanu has revealed several dark chapters of his life in the reality show and claimed that his father hasn't had much of a presence in his life. In a recent interview, the young aspiring singer has spoken at length on his relationship with his father and a noted singer Kumar Sanu. While confessing that his father's influence in his professional life has been limited, he said 'there were misconceptions that I might be getting a lot of help from my father as he is a noted singer. I wanted to dispel those misconceptions. I am not afraid to speak the truth out loud.' Adding further he said, 'I still have to speak to my dad about it because we haven’t got a chance yet. But at the end of the day, he is my father and things will get cleared out as we are family.' While Kumar Sanu refutes all his son's allegations saying he has tried his best to help Jaan in his career as a singer. He said, 'Jaan asked me to call a few industry people who I know. I called Mukesh Bhatt ji, Ramesh Taurani ji and a few others, and he went to meet them, but now it’s up to them if they want to give him work. In fact, when Jaan wanted to be a part of some of my live concerts, I let him join me for a few.' For the unversed, during his days in the ongoing season of TV reality show 'Bigg Boss' Jaan Kumar Sanu revealed that for him, his mother plays the role of both parents as his father Kumar Sanu left his mother when she was six months pregnant with him.
