Priyanshu Kshatriya, who played the role of Babu Chetri in Nagraj Manjule-directorial ‘Jhund’, has been reportedly arrested for an alleged theft by the Nagpur city police. According to reports, a resident of Mankapur area had filed a police complaint after jewellery and cash worth Rs 5 lakh was stolen from his house. Later, the police apprehended a minor suspect who disclosed Kshatriya’s involvement in the crime. Reportedly, the actor was produced before a court which remanded him in police custody till November 25. ‘Jhund’ showed Vijay Barse, played by Amitabh Bachchan, introducing the game of football to slum kids to keep them away from crime.
