Popular singer KK left for his heavenly abode on May 31. Recalling memories of one of KK’s most popular songs ‘Tadap tadap’ from ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, music composer Ismail Darbar remembered how he was charmed by the late singer’s maasumiyat (innoncence) when he first met him. Talking about the ‘crazy’ experience of recording ‘Tadap tadap’, Ismail told TOI, ‘He (KK) was fast asleep and I went over to him at 4 am in the studio and woke him up to tell him the tune was ready for him to sing.
