Indian cinema is getting ready to welcome the boxing legend Mike Tyson. The former world heavyweight champion will soon be seen in Puri Jagannadh's 'Liger'. This happy photograph was shared by actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is in Las Vegas to shoot portions of the film with Tyson. Vijay shared the pic on his Twitter handle alongwith a note which read, 'This man is love. Every moment I am making memories! And this one will forever be special... #Liger Vs The Legend... When I came face to face with Mike Tyson.' Also known as Iron Mike, Tyson is one of the most celebrated professional boxers in the world. Although Tyson became the youngest ever world heavyweight champion at the age of 20, he also has a career full of many highs and extreme lows, suitable enough for a movie script. However, the makers of 'Liger' have not yet revealed anything regarding Tyson's role, but Deverkonda features as a boxer, who will probably have a face-off in the ring with the boxing legend. A while ago Vijay had shared his feelings on working with Tyson during an interview with a news portal. He had then said, 'Having Mike Tyson on board is like a dream come true. He was exactly what we needed for this particular role in the film. When we narrated the film and sent him the script, he was really excited and he got on board. I’m really looking forward to shooting with him. We have to shoot with him in the US and we are just waiting for our permission to make the journey there and shoot with Tyson. I love that man. He is as real as it gets. It’ll be an honour to even get beaten by him. Only the greats have gotten punched by him. It’s something I checked off my bucket list, punched by Mr. Mike Tyson.' 'Liger' is a bi-lingual film which is being co-produced by Karan Johar. The film, which will be shot in Telugu and Hindi, also stars Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Makarand Deshpande and Ronit Roy in key roles.
