Lyricist-screenwriter Manoj Muntashir has bagged his first National Award for the Best Lyricist for the film 'Saina.' Exhilarated on receiving this honour, Manoj expressed his gratitude and dedicated his National Film Award to his hometown, Gauriganj. In a conversation with Zoom TV Digital, Manoj said, 'I am completely overjoyed and exhilarated. I remember, thirty years ago when I must have picked up the pen to write songs for the first time, I may have dreamt of this day, which arrived in my life today. I dedicate this award to my motherland, Gauriganj, Amethi, and the people, who taught me how to read and write.'
