FWICE has written a letter to the MD of Star India, requesting that Mukesh Chhabra’s suspension be revoked immediately. Mukesh Chhabra was suspended as the director of ‘Kizie Aur Manny’ after sexual harassment allegations against him. The letter has cited the provisions of POSH Act 2013, which states that the victim and alleged harasser shall be heard. According to the letter, disciplinary actions, such as suspending him, may be taken after the POSH enquiry is completed. It is yet to be seen if Star India reinstates Mukesh Chhabra’s services as a director.
