'Piku' director Shoojit Sircar says, 'Face masks will soon be a social status and fashion accessory'

Amid the coronavirus crises, Bollywood celebrities are using social media as a medium to connect with their fans and followers. Recently, the 'Piku' director Shoojit Sircar, took to his official twitter handle and wrote, 'Face masks are going to be a fashion accessory and social status soon like jewellery, handbags, hats, belts, scarves, watches, sunglasses etc. Designer label face masks for weddings/birthdays/anniversary etc'. Reacting to the director's tweet, a user shared a news piece that says global fashion giants have already started making protective clothing for people on the front lines of the pandemic. On the cinematic front Shoojit Sircar last directed the film 'October' starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu in lead roles.
