Priyanka Chopra joins the entire nation 'in spirit' as India observes Janata Curfew all the way from LA

We've said it before and we'll say it again. Priyanka Chopra Jonas may be a big shot in Hollywood now and living in LA with husband Nick Jonas but her heart still swells with pride at the mere mention of India. On Sunday, as the entire nation came together at 5 PM to salute those unsung heroes who have made it their mission to fight the deadly coronavirus outbreak, Priyanka too joined in all the way from LA. Taking to her social media handle, the actress shared a video wherein she can be seen clapping from her balcony as she captioned it, 'People around the world have shown their appreciation for the doctors, nurses and all first responders battling by COVID-19 by clapping on their balconies. Although I couldn't be there in India today to join, I am there in spirit.#jantacurfewindia.' Priyanka and Nick have been under self-quarantine for over a week now. Time and again, they've been reminding their fans to practise social distancing during these troublesome times.
