Remo D'Souza's brother-in-law Jason Watkins' body sent for autopsy, police say he was a drug addict

Choreographer-director Remo D'Souza's wife and producer Lizelle D'Souza is in deep shock, grieving the unfortunate and sudden demise of her brother Jason Watkins. Reportedly, Jason committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan. Expressing her grief at the sudden demise of her brother, Lizelle D’ Souza took to her Instagram handle to share pictures of her late brother. The first picture is from their childhood where the two can be sitting along with each other while the next picture shows her brother Jason with her mom who passed away 3 years ago. She even captioned the picture as, ‘Am sorry Mum I failed U’.Remo D’ Souza also took to his Instagram handle to mourn the loss of his brother-in-law. Sharing a picture on social media, he captioned it as, ‘You broke our hearts brother, hope you finally found Peace REST IN PEACE #jasonwatkins’ Jason who left for his heavenly abode at the age of just 42 years was battling some health issues which might have driven him to take this extreme step. Meanwhile, the police have questioned Jason's 74-year-old father Desmond Cyril Dunstan and sister. Police interrogation reportedly revealed that Jason was in depression ever since his mother passed away, which has even led him to drug addiction. Reports also say that he committed suicide in a state of intoxication. Meanwhile, his body has been sent for post-mortem.As per the initial probe by the police, Watkins was alone in his flat at the time of the incident. His parents had gone out to buy medicines and when they returned they found him hanging by the fan. As soon as the police reached Jason’s residence, the body was brought down and was immediately sent to Cooper Hospital where a team of doctors declared Jason dead. At the time of this tragic incident, Remo and his wife Lizelle D'Souza were in Goa to attend a wedding. Jason was working with Remo as an assistant.
