RIP! Veteran actress Rajeeta Kochhar passes away at 70 due to renal failure

Veteran actress Rajeeta Kochhar has passed away due to renal failure. She was 70 years of age and featured in several films including 'Piya Ka Ghar' and 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. She was also a popular face in the television industry and acted in shows like 'Tantra', 'Kavach…Kaali Shaktiyon Se', 'Hatim', and 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii'. During a conversation, her niece, Nupur Kampani said that the actress had a brain stroke in September last year, following which she suffered from paralysis. On December 20, she complained of breathlessness and stomach pain following which her health deteriorated and passed away around 10.15 pm on December 23rd. Rajeeta Kochhar is survived by her husband Rajesh Kochhar and daughter Kapisha, who is settled in the US. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
