Rishi Kapoor gives health update on Twitter, says 'chest infection and pneumonia was a real downer'

Even after surviving cancer and undergoing over a year-long treatment, Rishi's spirit is undeterred and stronger than ever. Recently, the actor was rushed to the hospital due to some chest infection. But fans need not worry as he has given an update on his health via Twitter. In response to Javed Akhtar's tweet to him, calling him a 'born winner', Rishi thanked him as he went on to write that 'the chest infection and pneumonia was indeed a real downer at the wrong time'. However, he informed Javed and his Twitter fans that 'with God's grace he is now on the road to recovery'. Rishi Kapoor is someone who did not keep his work at the back burner despite his health. He was last seen in 'The Body' where he shared screen space with Emraan Hashmi.
