After playing several iconic characters, Bollywood's veteran actor Viju Khote passed away at the age of 78 due to multiple organ failure. Viju not only worked in Hindi films but proved his caliber in the Marathi cinema as well. The actor who played the role of Kalia in the film 'Sholay', was mourned by many Bollywood celebs like Rishi Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Suneil Shetty, Ajay Devgn and many others as soon as the sad news of his demise came. Viju's last rites were performed at Chandan Wadi and were attended by celebs from both film and TV fraternity. Actor Arshad Warsi and Bharat Dabholkar were amongst the many celebs who attended the actor's funeral.
