Salim Merchant, Suniel Shetty remember Bappi Lahiri ahead of ‘Disco Dancer: The Musical’ premiere

A musical stage production titled “Disco Dancer - The Musical”, inspired by Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty’s 1982 hit film, will hold a grand premiere in Mumbai on April 14. Music production house Saregama and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty brought this musical idea to India post the UK's West End success.The premiere will feature late Bappi Lahiri’s chartbuster tracks recreated by Bollywood music composer Salim-Sulaiman. The celebration would bring back the grandeur of the 80’s, unforgettable songs, disco-style dancing and memorable dialogues for audiences of all generations of India.
