Recently, the late actor's family lawyer, Vikas Singh held a press conference and said that the case will be spoilt if the investigation isn't brought back on track. He further added that Sushant Singh Rajput's family feels the Bollywood drug probe being carried out by the Narcotics Control Bureau seems to be an attempt to divert media attention towards them. About the celebrities being summoned by the NCB, Vikas Singh said, 'What’s the point of calling these celebrities in a narcotics case? There is no one involved in the drug trade'.
