Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer Vikas Singh says, 'Mumbai Police murdered the CrPC'

With CBI stepping in to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the late actor’s father and sister have reportedly alleged 'murder' and not 'abetment to suicide' in their recent statements. During the ongoing hearing of the petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty in the Supreme Court, Sushant's family lawyer, Vikas Singh said, 'Mumbai Police murdered the CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure) by insisting on a written complaint in February this year as Mumbai Police refused to register the FIR citing technicalities. While Bihar government claimed that Mumbai Police could not have carried out an investigation into Rajput's death on the basis of an accidental death report after the post mortem report was available on June 25. They added that it calls Mumbai police investigation a facade and under political influence to hide facts.
