Amid lockdown and shoots being postponed, Doordarshan brought back its highly popular 1987 series ‘Ramayan’ to the Television. Soon after, there were reports that Ayushmann Khurrana's mother-in-law and Tahira's mother Anita Kashyap had played the role of Trijata. Now, quashing any such rumours, Tahira shared a tweet stating that the reports are fake as she went on to further add, ‘She was an educationist and has no connection with this show, whatsoever.’ The reports were carried along with a screen grab of the show wherein the character, Trijata, can be seen offering help to Sita.
