Every year, 5th September is celebrated as Teacher's Day all over the country. It is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general. Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5, every year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s second President, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was the first Vice President and the second President of India.
