Kannada actor Chetan Kumar was arrested by Seshadripuram police and taken to court on March 21. Based on the FIR lodged by the police, the court sent Chetan to judicial custody for 14 days. In this case, the lawyer for Chetan had applied for bail. The Hon'ble Court adjourned the hearing of the bail application. He got arrested after his tweet allegedly hurt Hindu sentiments. Shivakumar of Bajrangi Dal lodged a complaint at the Seshadripuram police station based on the tweet. In the complaint, Shivakumar accused Chetan of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.
