Vidyut Jammwal is officially engaged to Nandita Mahtani! All you need to know about the actor's ladylove

Many hearts were broken on September 13 when action hero and Bollywood heartthrob Vidyut Jammwal took to his Instagram handle to announce his engagement to ladylove Nandita Mahtani. In a short and sweet note, the actor shared the happy news and penned, 'Did it the Commando way', along with a picture of the two rock climbing and posing in front of the Taj Mahal. Mahtani, too, took to her official Instagram handle and wrote, 'Couldn’t keep him hanging any longer…said yes!!1-9-21' as she shared the same set of pictures. As speculated earlier, the dashing duo got engaged on September 1 in Agra. Now, for those of you who aren't familiar with Nandita Mahtani, don't go looking on the web because we have you covered. Born on 8th January 1976, Nandita is a fashion designer based in Mumbai. Besides thriving as a designer, she also co-runs a company with actor Dino Morea. She has also worked closely with Indian Men's Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli. She reportedly styles the cricketer. Once, she was even quoted as saying in an interview, 'Kohli is one of the easiest and most inspiring people to work with'. She was earlier married to industrialist Sunjay Kapur but they got divorced a few years later. The designer met the Delhi-based industrialist while they were both studying in London and the two wed after two years of dating. Sunjay Kapur later married actress Karisma Kapoor with whom he had 2 kids, before going their separate ways. Nandita also found love again in actor Dino Morea. The two reportedly dated for quite a long time and if reports are anything to go by, Dino Morea was even ready to settle down but Nandita was apprehensive about getting hitched yet again. Around the same time, a source, while speaking to ETimes was quoted as saying, 'Nandita had a very bad marriage with Sunjay Kapoor. She is apprehensive about getting hitched now...She keeps telling him that `they are fine' the way they are, questioning his need to give a legal status to their relationship.' Nandita was also rumoured to be dating Ranbir Kapoor around the time he made his Bollywood debut in 2007 with the film, 'Saawariya'. While the two never officially admitted to being a couple, they were regularly spotted hanging out, which only added fodder to rumours about their relationship. They reportedly parted ways to focus on their respective careers.
