When Mahima Chaudhry talked about her horrific accident and said 67 glass pieces were removed from her face surgically

Actress Mahima Chaudhry, who used to rule million of hearts in the late 90s has been away from the silver screen for quite some time now. She made her dream debut with actor Shah Rukh Khan in the 1997's film 'Pardes' and instantly became a superstar. But did you know when she was at the peak of her career, she met with a serious accident which injured her face badly? Yes, in the year 1997, when she was shooting for the film 'Dil Kya Kare' with Ajay Devgn and Kajol, her car rammed into a truck in Bangalore and multiple pieces of glass had to be removed from her face as a result of the horrific accident. Recently, we came across an old interview of the actress with an entertainment portal, where she opened up about her accident and said, 'I thought I was dying, and at that point, no one even helped me get to the hospital. It is only after reaching the hospital, much later, when my mother came, Ajay came and they went to discuss. I got up and saw my face in the mirror and saw the horror.
