When Smriti Irani was asked to resume work day after suffering a miscarriage: I took my medical papers and told Ekta Kapoor ‘Foetus bacha nahi, warna woh bhi dikha deti'
Actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani recently recalled how she was asked to resume work for 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', just a day after she suffered a miscarriage. During a conversation with a portal, the actress-politician shared that upon returning to sets, she found that a co-actor had told the show's producer Ekta Kapoor that her miscarriage wasn’t real. 'The next day, I took all my medical papers to Ekta to tell her it is not a drama. She got uncomfortable and told me not to show the papers. I told her, ‘Foetus bacha nahi, warna woh bhi dikha deti', said Smriti Irani. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
