While people should not have to be told to take care of the planet seeing as it seems like a pretty basic duty of every human on Earth, a gentle reminder once in a while may not be a bad thing after all. Especially if it comes from environmentally aware celebrities, who also act as green activists. For some of these celebrities, every day is dedicated to the environment and its protection. Today on World Environment Day, many Bollywood celebrities have taken to their social media handles to remind people of what's at stake and why we should put more effort into protecting the planet we live on. For the unversed, this day is celebrated on June 5 every year across the globe to increase awareness worldwide and action for the environment. Sharing a video of her son Taimur Ali Khan playing in the sand, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan asked her fans to 'Protect Heal Love' on the day.
