Shashank Khaitan, who helms the film, recently spoke to a daily about the new song (Pehli Baar) of the film. Director Shashank Khaitan reportedly professed that they have retained two songs from ‘Sairat’ because they lent themselves beautifully to ‘Dhadak’. He further added that ‘Pehli Baar’ is about that innocent first love and a young boy’s desire for a girl he can never have. He even said that without any set choreography, it captures the moment when Ishaan meets Janhvi and gets attracted to her.
