Actress-MP Nusrat Jahan's son's birth certificate reveals the name of father as Debashish Dasgupta aka Yash Dasgupta

After embracing motherhood, Bengali actress turned politician Nusrat Jahan recently revealed the name of her newborn son which is Yishaan. However, questions about the child's father was still doing round. But now, it seems all speculations about the child's paternity has come to an end as the birth registration details of her baby boy are now out in public domain. According to Kolkata Municipal Corporation document, Nusrat's baby boy's birth certificate mentions the name of the baby as Yishaan J Dasgupta and that of the father as Debashish Dasgupta, which is the formal name of Yash Dasgupta. The actress welcomed a baby boy on August 26, but has managed to keep him away from the limelight. The actor-politician also recently made her first public appearance where she also spoke about the child's father. In a recent interaction with media, the actress was asked when can one get the first glimpse of her son, to which the actress-politician responded by saying 'You should ask his father that. He is not letting anyone see him at the moment.' Notably, there were a lot of speculations going around regarding the identity of the father of her child as her estranged husband Nikhil Jain, whom she married at a destination wedding in Turkey in 2019, already said that the child is not his. The reports of her troubled marriage with Nikhil sparked up after reports of her dating her 'SOS Kolkata' co-star Yash Dasgupta started surfacing on social media. A video of her leaving the hospital with her newborn son and rumoured boyfriend Yash Dasgupta also made its way to the internet wherein Yash was seen carrying the baby. No sooner did the visuals surfaced on social media and netizens began speculating that the father of the child is Yash. On the other hand, as netizens continue to speculate about the identity of her baby's 'daddy', Nusrat has gone ahead and dropped a new picture and captioned it as, 'Don't take criticism from people u won't take advice from.' Without divulging the identity of the photographer, Nusrat simply wrote that the picture was clicked by 'Daddy'. Also, it was Yash only who had gave the health update about Nusrat and her child post-delivery. He had said, 'For those who have been enquiring about Nusrat's health, the mother and child are healthy and doing well.'
