Payel Sarkar gets brutally trolled for her dance video

Actress Payel Sarkar created a storm on the internet by posting her topless dance video on Wednesday. Going topless, she danced to one of Lata Mangeshkar’s all-time hits ‘Bhor Bhaye Panghat Pe’ and the video went viral instantly. However, this didn’t go down well with a portion of social media users who slammed the actress for her bold video. And now, in response to all those trolls, Payel opened up about online trolls giving a fitting reply. Reacting to the mean comments on her video, she talked about people being gender-biased. She questioned if a male actor is not asked to cover up when sharing a shirtless picture, why it’s the women in the industry who usually faces the flak. Blaming the mentality of the people, she said that often a woman’s choice of clothes is held responsible for promoting rape. While the actress has now learned that ignorance is bliss, in her case, she also said that people will always point fingers at her no matter what she is doing as she recalled mean comments on her several posts previously. While Payel wishes the world to become more progressive, she also asserted that sexism and gender inequality is common all around the world as people dislike women who speak their minds and are upfront.
