Yami Gautam wanted THIS instead of becoming an actor!

Actor Yami Gautam who’s in Kolkata right now for the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Lost’ had a different dream of becoming something else during her teenage days. While speaking to ETimes, Yami who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Vicky Donor’ almost a decade ago shared that she always had a dream of becoming an IAS officer. “I never thought of pursuing acting in my life. Instead, I wanted to be an IAS officer. But when some family friends came to visit us in Chandigarh and told my parents that I should try my luck in Bollywood my father had sent some pictures of mine to Mumbai. One day I got a call and there was no looking back. Interestingly, Yami played an undercover RAW agent Jasmine D'Almeida aka Pallavi Sharma in the 2019 film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ ; it was sort of a consolation for the talented actor.
