Fort Kochi celebrates Xmas and New Year more than any other place in Kerala: Vinay Forrt

For people of Fort Kochi, December has always been special. Actor Vinay Forrt, who grew up in the port town, says he has mostly tried to keep his schedule free during the month to indulge in the celebration that begins with hanging lights and preparing wine. This year with the pandemic bringing everything to a standstill, things aren’t the same. Vinay takes us on a stroll through some of his favourite Fort Kochi spots while sharing memories of past Decembers. “Fort Kochi is the most beautiful in December, especially during the early mornings and late nights,” he says. “It has the best climate and is usually the peak time for tourism. On the streets, we see more foreigners than localities.”
