I feel energised to be back on court: Kunchacko Boban

Kunchacko Boban’s sports and fitness activities during the lockdown were the epitome of self-isolation practices. The actor hit his badminton smash shots against the walls and the stairs doubled up as a ‘step machine’. But with the rules being relaxed, he is now back at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium court, with his old sports partners in the morning and evening every day."My speed and skills seem to have improved post lockdown, as I had been practising during the three months at home," he quips, adding that they are taking extra care and following government protocol to prevent the pandemic at the sports centre. "The mask is a must when not playing. They check our temperature before we enter the stadium and we sanitise our hands. They also insist that we wash our hands often," he explains. They also maintain social distancing while playing. "We play singles mostly and even if we play doubles, it would be while maintaining a proper distance," he says.
