Surabhi Lakshmi to play ‘Betsy’ in ‘Kuri’

The makers of the upcoming Vishnu Unnikrishnan starrer ‘Kuri’ unveiled a second look poster for the film featuring actor Surabhi Lakshmi as the character named ‘Betsy’. The looks of the poster posit that ‘Betsy’ will be surely a serious kind of character that will give the actress ample space to unveil her acting prowess. Helmed by the director KR Praveen, ‘Kuri’ is touted as a family suspense thriller and the script of the film is penned down by the director himself. Santhosh C Pilla will crank the lens for ‘Kuri’ and the editing section will be handled by Rashin Ahammed. Vinu Thomas will compose the songs for the film under the lyrics penned down by BK Harinarayanan. Previously the makers unveiled the character look poster for Vishnu Unnikrishnan who essays the role of CPO Dileep Kumar. The film also has several other casts that include Aditi Ravi, Vishnu Govindhan, Pramod Velianad, Chali Pala, Vinod Thomas, and Sagar Surya. On the other hand, Surabhi Lakshmi’s recent outing was the Mohanlal starrer ‘Aaraattu’, where she essayed the character named Ammini. The actress also has a list of ambitious projects in her bag that includes ‘Anuradha Crime No. 59/ 2019’, ‘Jwalamukhi’, ‘Thala’, and ‘Padma’. Meanwhile, Vishnu Unnikrishnan will be seen playing prominent roles in the films ‘Eeyal’, ‘Sabash Chandra Bose’, ‘Shalomon’, ‘Marathakam’, and ‘Red River’.
