In a major expose, Punjabi director Simranjit Singh Hundal reveals how film and singing world, particularly Punjabi, are using online or digital marketing firms to fetch fake views or likes etc. Hundal created a short film, Online Mafia which shows how the syndicate and business works. He says online mafia has entered the film and music industry. He tells in the film how with money, the likes and views are bought, especially by new age singers, actors and even moviemakers.
